Tomorrow, Friday, March 8, is International Women’s Day, and in Madrid, in addition to the demonstrations that will take place in different parts of the city, there will be many other activities and events to commemorate the day.
For this 8M of 2024, in the capital there will be 2 major parallel demonstrations: that of the feminist movement of Madrid (MFM) and the 8M commission, and whose routes will be as follows:
- MFM demonstration: it will leave from Cibeles at 19:00 hours, going along Gran Vía until reaching Plaza de España. This demonstration will take place under the slogan Prostitution is not a job. Abolition now!
- 8M Commission demonstration: it will also start at 19:00 hours, but it will start from Atocha and will end at Plaza de Colón. This one will emphasize patriarchy, privilege, genocides and the Spanish MeToo #SeAcabó.
